The CPST Igniter is used to initiate the Power Charge of Setting Tools when setting plugs and packers. It uses a simple design that simplifies installation and eliminates the need for a secondary igniter. With fewer components and the igniter closer to the Power Charge, initiation reliability is significantly improved. It is compatible with all conventional setting tools on the market including BST-5, BST-10, BST-20 and equivalents.
